The human skin and internal organs are closely linked through the nervous system. This connection is established early in embryonic development, as the nervous system and skin originate from the same embryonic ectoderm layer. The nervous system communicates with all internal organs through its extensive network, which is crucial in regulating their function and overall state. Because of this deep connection, it is possible to influence the condition of internal organs by stimulating the skin.
